This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you access our website, apps, and Services.

Where applicable, we manage personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We also follow the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme when an eligible data breach is likely to result in serious harm, including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC as required. (OAIC)

3) Information We Collect

3.1 Account & Profile Data: name, contact details, password, role (job seeker/employer), company details (for employers), subscription tier, and preferences.
3.2 Job-Related Data: resumes/CVs, work history, qualifications, right-to-work confirmations supplied by you, job ads, selection notes, interview availability, and messages exchanged through the Platform.
3.3 Transactional Data: subscription plan, payment method (tokenised via our payment processor), billing address, invoices, and receipts.
3.4 Technical & Usage Data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, session duration, referral URLs, and interactions with Platform features.
3.5 Support & Feedback: inquiries, support chats, bug reports, survey responses, and feature requests.
3.6 Sensitive Information (limited): Only where strictly necessary and lawful (e.g., diversity data you choose to provide, or background screening facilitated by an employer), and only with consent or as otherwise permitted by law. Do not provide sensitive information unless requested and you consent to our handling.

4) How We Collect Information

  • Directly from youwhen you register, complete a profile, post roles, apply to jobs, message, or contact support.
  • Automaticallyvia cookies and similar technologies (see Section 10).
  • From otherswhere permitted (e.g., references you nominate, third-party service providers, payment processors, or publicly available sources).

5) How We Use Personal Information

We use information to:
a) Provide and operate the Platform (create accounts, host profiles, post roles, match candidates, facilitate messaging and notifications);
b) Process payments and manage subscriptions;
c) Improve and personalise the Platform (analytics, troubleshooting, feature development);
d) Secure the Platform (fraud prevention, abuse detection, incident response);
e) Communicate with you about service updates, changes, or policy updates;
f) Marketing (where permitted): send offers, tips, and news—you can opt out at any time (see Section 9);
g) Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.

6) Sharing & Disclosure

We may share personal information with:

  • Employers ↔ Job Seekers:to facilitate applications, screening, messaging, interviews, and offers.
  • Service Providers:hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, and security vendors who process data under our instructions.
  • Business Transfers:in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality and continuation of protections.
  • Legal/Regulatory:where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security.

We do not sell personal information.

7) International Transfers

If personal information is transferred outside Australia (e.g., to cloud providers or support teams), we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients protect it in a manner substantially similar to the APPs (contractual safeguards, access controls). (OAIC)

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We apply criteria such as account status, legal/reporting requirements, and operational necessity. On request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information, subject to legal obligations and backup limitations.

9) Direct Marketing & Your Choices

Where we send commercial electronic messages, we comply with the Spam Act 2003 (consent, sender identification, and functional unsubscribe). You can opt out using links in messages or by contacting us. Platform users must also comply when sending commercial messages via the Platform. (acma.gov.au)

10) Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure performance, and improve features. You can adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies; some features may not function without them.

11) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, role-based access, logging, and regular vulnerability management. No system is 100% secure; if you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

12) Data Breaches & the NDB Scheme

We maintain a data breach response plan. If we suspect a breach, we will promptly assess its severity. Subject to exceptions, you may:

14) Children
